| Register of Ipswich
Waterfront Businesses In April the Waterfront Community Group put on a public event promoting the area to local residents which attracted over 1000 people. The group has the aim of “working towards a vibrant friendly and thriving Waterfront Community” and this does include the economic and business community. A number of local businesses were actively involved at this event and we are looking at ways this could be continued So we can start this process we need to draw up a register of businesses so that we can keep you informed. Please can you DOWNLOAD the Business Register Form to complete and return . Many thanks. Jay Harvey – Co-Ordinator. Waterfront Community Group |

As part of a planning consultation by Ipswich Borough Council
Planning Department we have been
approached for suggestions on the type of community facilities we would like to
see developed on the shed 8 site. This is the land next to Neptune Marina and
used for a car park at the moment Please select this < PLANNING INFORMATION LINK > where you can can click on 'view map' to look at the site. You may also want to consider 'things/issues' to watch out for as well. Please can you let me have your 'list' of community facilities and any issues please by Monday 6th October. If you received this information from someone else other than me, please can you let me know your name and address when you email your suggestions so I can add you to our mailing list. Please email it to me. We have done a lot of work to establish community needs on the waterfront, both for people living there and people living in Ipswich so hopefully we'll be able to come up for some suggestions that will promote cohesion and increase vibrancy in that area. Please feel free to circulate this request to other residents or interested people who you feel can make a contribution to community facilities and feedback to me. Email: Harvey |
